Since its first edition in 2009, Casa Tomada has consolidated itself as an interdisciplinary space where young creators and thinkers promote critical thinking and cultural resistance, as informed by the organizers of the forum.

This year they celebrate the historical memory and the processes of resistance of peoples under the theme “Identities and resistances: for a contemporary cartography of our America”. According to Casa de las Américas, they will discuss Identity Resistances, Land and Territories, Youth, Community, Streets and Digital Networks, and Solidarity for Life.

It announces that admission will be free and for a unique opportunity to think and create together, after the challenges faced. Casa Tomada will feature panels, workshops, concerts, exhibitions and much more.
