Cuba regrets DANA’s aftermath in Spain

According to preliminary results, the atmospheric phenomenon has killed 70 persons and authorities continue the process of lifting and identifying the victims.

DANA mainly affected the Community of Valencia and Castilla La Mancha, although incidents are expected in Catalonia and Andalusia.

On Thursday, Spanish President Pedro Sanchez will visit Valencia, after an announcement that he will offer all necessary State aid to those affected.

The State Meteorological Agency informed that this DANA, an atmospheric phenomenon also known as the cold drop, is the most adverse of the century in the Community of Valencia.

Its impact exceeds that of the DANA of September 2019 and is on par with the two major storms of the 1980s.
