Bin Zayed and Shoigu discussed during the meeting the results of the UAE president’s state visit to the Russian Federation and the implementation of the agreements reached between their leaders.

During the meeting, Shoigu stressed the importance for Russian-Emirati relations, the president’s visit, and its broad impact in the Russian society.

The two authorities also discussed the Ukrainian issue and certain aspects of bilateral cooperation, paying special attention to strengthening the trust-based dialogue between the relevant bodies of the two countries, including the implementation of joint projects and the intensification of delegation exchanges between relevant experts.

The meeting was held in a warm atmosphere of friendship and mutual trust, typical of the current level of Russian-Emirati relations, not subject to the immediate foreign policy situation, noted the press release.

The trust-based nature of the dialogue between the leaders forms a solid foundation for ties between the two countries for the coming years, Shoigu expressed.
