The information was published in the local newspaper Ahora, which pointed out that the 2024-2025 peak winter season began over the weekend in the tourist resort of Holguin with the inaugural flight by World2Fly, which belongs to the tour operator Der Touristik, and connected the Czech Republic with this northeastern Cuban province for the first time.

This way, a direct Prague-Holguin connection has been established, with weekly flights to the Frank País international airport, and that frequency is expected to extend until March 2025.
