“From the 9th Congress of the Union of Bank Employees of Colombia, which is celebrating 66 years of struggle and internationalism, we take the opportunity to send a fraternal embrace to the Cuban people and solidarity in times of difficulties and a resounding rejection of the criminal blockade by the United States,” the communiqué says.
The lawmaker assured that the association demands that Cuba be excluded from Washington’s State Sponsors of Terrorism (SSOT) list, because it is an unfair declaration and, on the contrary, Cuba has contributed to the peace processes in Latin America.
