From October 27 to November 3 the 10th edition of the Week of Sacred Music is held in Havana, with the accumulation of an important work of music management, musicians, instruments and promotion of traditions.

The event is attended by an excellent teaching staff and a high-level student body, eager to live the musical celebrations organized within the colonial buildings, with instruments prepared to welcome the followers of the sacred concerts.

According to La Papeleta website, the aim of the La Cátedra y las Semanas is to perpetuate the practice and taste for sacred music of all times and contexts, and to bring audiences and congregations closer to a particularly sensitive musical language.

Another purpose of the meeting is to continue to recreate songs about the hope of a saving faith for all, even in hard times, even between tides to continue founding, the organizers of this 10th edition of the Week of Sacred Music said.
