The shipment contains 30 tons of medicines and food, confirmed Randhir Jaiswal, spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who detailed that the cargo includes a wide range of essential medicines and surgical supplies, dental products, general medical items and high-energy biscuits.
Last Friday, New Delhi sent 11 tons of medicines to Lebanon, the first batch of a 33-ton shipment. The aid included pharmaceutical products such as cardiovascular medicines, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, antibiotics and anesthetics, among others, Jaiswal said.
The donation contributed to assisting the victims of the aggression perpetrated by the Zionist Israeli government, which has caused more than two thousand deaths and more than 11 thousand wounded.
India consistently maintains its support for the Palestinians, its opposition to war and its support for resolving differences through diplomatic channels.
