On hix X account, the head of State published a message addressed to the political group, which he extended to its leader, Ralph Gonsalves.
“Sincere congratulations to the Unity Labor Party of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and its leader, brother Ralph Gonsalves, on the 30th anniversary of the founding of that political organization,” the Cuban president wrote.
“We reaffirm the will to continue to develop inter-party ties,” the president added.
The Labour Unity Party is a political organization in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, founded on October 16, 1994, following the merging of the social-democratic Saint Vincent Labour Party and the leftist Movement for National Unity.
According to the Cuban Foreign Ministry’s website, Cubaminrex, Cuba and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines established diplomatic relations on May 26, 1992.
Since then, they have maintained cooperation in areas of technical, economic, commercial and social development.
