The rally will start at 18:00 hours, local time, and participants will depart from Hussay Square to reach the Pizzurno Palace in this capital.
We continue to mobilize in defense of the public university, as we have done throughout the year, especially in the massive marches held on April 23 and October 2, which had the support of the entire Argentinean people, the Front noted in a press release.
Additionaly, we reject the provocations and events of violence that have taken place in some educational centers that the government is stimulating with its defamation, stigmatization, and lies campaign against the university and against those of us who are exercising our legitimate right to question a policy of adjustment that seeks to destroy a common good that is fundamental to our democracy, the text adds.
The Front also confirmed that a 24-hour strike with workers of the sector will be held on Thursday, and a week of struggle will start on Monday.
Along with several protests, the unions will carry out measures of force that will be announced in due time. We support the actions of struggle that the student movement is currently conducting in the 62 public universities, which are an essential contribution, the message stated.
