A prestigious jury made up of Edesio Alejandro, Enmanuel Blanco, DJ Jigüe and Mauricio Abad, decided to award the second place to “Alma,” by Mr. Ford feat Mesiel, while the third place went to “El Yerro,” a composition by Landeep feat Alejandro Delgado.
In addition, mentions were granted to “Laka Laka,” by Adandux; “X,” by Yongolailan; and “Elegguá,” by Axennar & Whisper.
After the call for entries was launched last August, more than 50 composers from Havana, Mayabeque, Cienfuegos, Villa Clara, Sancti Spíritus and Holguín vied for awards, submitting 70 works.
