In a statement, Hezbollah pointed out that Israeli forces used this weapon in the bombings of the areas of Wadi al-Khanazir in Wadi al-Hijar, Khallat Raj between the cities of Al-Ma’lam and Deir Sryan, and east of Al-Ma’lam towards the forests.
According to the Resistance, this crime against the Lebanese people demonstrates Israel’s blatant failure to confront the combatants directly and its disregard for all international treaties, standards and laws, particularly in times of war.
The political and military movement called on the relevant parties in Lebanon and international and human rights organizations to condemn this heinous crime from all points of view, due to its long-term negative effects on civilians.
According to regional experts, in the absence of achievements in the ground campaign in southern Lebanon, Israel fired white phosphorus bombs, massacred civilians, and attacked Army’s positions, the United Nations Interim Force, civil defense teams and hospitals, in full complicity with the United States.
