The director of the university informed the agency that tomorrow Wednesday at 10:00 a.m., local time, the press conference will be held at the rector’s office of the university campus to inform the details of the convention scheduled from the 21st to the 25th of this month.
With the purpose of creating a space to promote the exchange, promotion and dissemination of experiences and research results in the academic field of physical activity and sports, the event will be held in a hybrid format, said the Doctor of Physical Culture Sciences.
In its more than five decades of existence, the center has forged a culture in the organization of scientific events, both national and international, which have fostered its prestige and visibility outside the borders of the largest island in the Caribbean.
On this occasion, it is convening, together with the Ministry of Higher Education, this second edition with the sponsorship of the National Institute of Sport, Physical Education and Recreation (Inder), the Cuban Olympic Committee and other international organizations.
The convention will be attended by professors, educators, researchers, students, directors of institutions, organizations and companies related to physical activity and sport and several integrated events will be held, as well as conferences, presentations and panels with a variety of topics.
According to Merced, other collateral activities will be developed such as an exhibition fair, guided visits, physical education class festivals and martial arts exhibitions.
