US filmmaker Michael Moore rejects blockade to Cuba

Havana, Oct 14 (Prensa Latina) U.S. filmmaker Michael Moore expressed his rejection of the U.S. economic, commercial and financial blockade against Cuba, Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez said today.

According to what the Cuban Foreign Minister published in X, the multi-talented documentary filmmaker and writer requested in a letter to U.S. President Joe Biden to repeal that policy.

“Renowned filmmaker Michael Moore calls on President Biden to put an end to the blockade againts Cuba,” Rodriguez wrote on the social network.

He also urged him to “return the territory illegally occupied by the U.S. naval base” in the eastern province of Guantánamo.

“The blockade is a criminal act that the international community almost unanimously repudiates,” the head of diplomacy of Cuba pointed out.

Michael Francis Moore (Michigan; April 23, 1954) is a filmmaker, documentary filmmaker and writer known for his critical view of globalization, big corporations and gun violence.
