The military institution published a message on its Telegram channel this Monday, stating that units of the Battlegroup East entered the settlement of Levadnoye in Zaporozhye and took more advantageous positions.

The Defense Ministry amounted to 120 the number of casualties suffered by the Ukrainian Army on the operational line of the Battlegroup East over the last 24 hours.

Additionally, the Ukrainian Army inflicted 620 casualties within the operation line of the Battlegroup South, 490 were killed in the Battlegroup West, 465 were killed in the Battlegroup Central, 25 were killed in the Dnieper Group, and 45 others in the Battlegroup North.

Material losses on the last day included Western weapons and equipment, in particular the United States’s M198, M119, and M777 artillery systems, France’s Caesar howitzers, a US M113 armored transport vehicle, and a Turkish Kirpi armored vehicle.

The Zaporozhye and Kherson provinces seceded from Ukraine and joined Russia by late September 2022, following a referendum in which the “yes” vote was an overwhelming majority.
