The text was published on occasion of the 64th anniversary of official ties between both nations.
Cuba and Bulgaria formalized their diplomatic ties on October 14, 1960 and since then they have strengthened the friendship and collaboration between their governments and peoples, according to repeated messages from the Cuban Foreign Ministry.
The two States consider the exchange they have maintained for more than six decades to be important.
Also on different occasions, the embassy of the Balkan country in this capital has expressed the interest of Bulgarian businessmen to develop commercial connections with the Caribbean island and participate in the growth of its food, agricultural, light, mechanical, mining and tourist industries.
Between the foreign ministries of the two nations, a Political Consultation Mechanism is in force, signed in 2017, and agreements were signed in the sectors of Culture, Higher Education and between Universities.
