Sources from the Venezuelan Embassy here told Prensa Latina that Ambassador Cesar Trompiz will lecture on “Elections in Venezuela and the Geopolitical Reconfiguration of the Region”.

Meanwhile, the renowned Bolivian expert Rafael Bautista will address “The Geopolitical Dispute of the South American Arc.”

Speaking to PL, Trompiz assured that the reelection of President Nicolas Maduro constitutes a victory of the constructive forces of this new era, a triumph of Latin America and the Caribbean. “It is a victory of the peoples against imperialism and hegemony represented by the United States and its blockade”, he sustained.

In reference to the pre-electoral phase and the polls, he considered that it was a stage of fighting the international far-right wing and particularly that of Latin America and Bolivia, but once again the Bolivarian people showed their dignity, that they are Chavistas and that they prevailed in democracy”, he added.
