On a communiqué, the Foreign Ministry said this “shameful” mission was “created by the governments of the failed criminal group known as the Lima Group,” which has exclusively political targets at the service of the U.S. Government.

The text reiterated that this “despicable mission is a clear example of the misguidance of the institutions of the United Nations System, which “have become instruments of coercion and blackmail against peoples and sovereign Governments.”

Caracas denounced that these entities are incapable of dealing with real crimes against humanity, such as the genocide in Palestine and the bombing of civilians in Lebanon by the State of Israel.

In addition to being supported by “Governments that today intend to attack the Bolivarian Revolution from a Human Rights Council that has been kidnapped.”
