On statements to the press, the Foreign Ministry expressed Paris’ strong rejection of the bombing in recent days of sites housing displaced persons in Gaza, such as the Al-Rafidia and Ibn Rushd schools and a mosque located in Deir Al-Balah.

For several weeks now, facilities housing civilians, in particular schools, have been repeatedly hit by Israel, causing an unacceptable number of casualties, they stressed.

The Ministry further expressed concern over the new evacuation orders issued by Israel to the population of the northern Strip, an enclave that has been under continuous attack since October 7 2023.

We recall that the forced displacement of human beings violates international law, the entity added, urging Israel to ensure the protection of civilians, demanding the immediate and unconditional release of hostages held by Hamas and calling for a ceasefire and the unimpeded entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza.
