The capital of Panama was the first stage of a tour that also included the Dominican Republic, where the musician performed the orchestra’s repertoire, spoke in workshops, and lectured on Cuban popular music and local development with artists, educators, researchers, and students from the University and the San Miguelito higher education center.

A subject in which we have also had experience for more than 10 years with our “Lucecita” Community Project and, more recently, with the local development project Mambo Producciones, Arnaldo Rodriguez, director of El Talisman band, told Prensa Latina via WhatsApp.

In his opinion, it is always good to reunite with Panamanian friends Adalberto Bazan, Biby Halzen, and the Matices Group, regular participants in the Piña Colada Festival promoted by Arnaldo in Ciego de Avila province.

We were grateful and happy to share the stage with them again, this time at the Aula Magna of Panama University, a place with so much history, Arnaldo said.
