According to the note published this Tuesday on the official Telegram page of the Ministry, the naval group carried out maneuvers and formation on the move to organize anti-submarine defense together with a Ka-27PL anti-submarine helicopter.
The Ministry specified that the Russian ships include large anti-submarine units, while on the Chinese side there are destroyers and an embedded supply ship.
Ships of the Russian and Chinese navies have begun joint patrols in the Asia-Pacific region after participating in the Beibu/Interaction 2024 naval exercise.
During the patrol duties, the ships are scheduled to conduct a series of training and combat tasks, including anti-submarine defense and offshore rescue.
