“The situation between Lebanon and Israel has escalated recently and the explosions of communication devices and air strikes that have occurred in various parts of Lebanon, have caused numerous casualties,” the statement said, adding that China calls on the international community, especially the main influential countries, to exert a constructive role and prevent further instability.

According to official information, Beirut requested medical help from China after the attacks.

China expressed its deep concern about the turbulent situation in the Middle East and rejected the violations of Lebanon’s sovereignty, security and territorial integrity.

The Foreign Ministry Spokesman’s Office also opposed the intensification of contradictions and the expansion of conflicts.

The failure to achieve a ceasefire and ceasefire in Gaza is the root cause of the current turmoil in the Middle East, according to the Foreign Ministry. China has therefore reiterated its call to all parties to end the fighting and achieve, as soon as possible, a comprehensive and lasting peace in Gaza.
