Serbian President: Escalation in Middle East is bad for Ukraine

Belgrade, Oct 7 (Prensa Latina) The worsening situation in the Middle East has a negative impact on the West's position in the Ukrainian conflict, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic told Pink TV.

According to the Serbian leader, the situation in Ukraine will become increasingly difficult for the West if the conflicts in the Middle East do not end soon, as defending Israel will require 10 times more financial investment from Western allies. This will facilitate the advance of the Russians, no matter what is been said about it.

The president added that no one in the world, except the United States, benefits from this confrontation.

Vucic previously informed that in order to resolve the conflict in Ukraine, the Korean scenario could be implemented when hostilities cease. However, this situation may persist for several decades, he said.
