The diplomat told Prensa Latina that Tahir Budagov, Deputy Chairman of the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) and Head of its Central Office, sent the letter to Emilio Lozada, head of the International Relations Department of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC)’s Central Committee.

In the message, Budagov points out that the development of the Republic of Cuba as a sovereign state with an independent domestic and foreign policy is the result of the firm position of the Communist Party of Cuba based on national interests, Valdes stressed. It is gratifying that the continuous development of relations between Azerbaijan and Cuba based on mutual respect, reliable partnership, and in the framework of international organizations, paves the way for expanding dialogue between our ruling parties, the message adds.

Finally, the message says the development of relations between both political forces through joint efforts will contribute to strengthening the traditional friendly relations between the two countries and peoples.
