The Lebanese movement issued a statement emphasizing that the opening of the support front for the Resistance in the Gaza Strip on October 8th, 2023 is a decision in favor of justice, humanity and, at the same time, to defend Lebanon and its people.

Hezbollah reaffirmed the ability of the Resistance and the people to fight against Israeli crimes and aggressions despite the sacrifices in its leadership structure, military and material resources, and the forced displacement of hundreds of thousands of civilians along with significant destruction of property and buildings.

According to the Lebanese Resistance, the Al-Aqsa Flood epic will have historic repercussions and strategic results on the overall situation in the region by removing the occupation.

Hezbollah stressed the absolute right of the Palestinian people to resist Israel by all means to restore legitimate rights to their land from the river to the sea. “Despite Israel’s brutality, which caused the deaths of tens of thousands of Palestinians and the unprecedented destruction of the Gaza Strip, unjust and aggressive [Israel] proved to be fragile, unable to survive without American support,” it noted.

Hezbollah stressed that Washington and its allies and tools in the world and the region are partners in Tel Aviv’s crimes against the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples and bear full responsibility for the massacres, injustice and horrific humanitarian tragedies.

The resistance also praised the steadfastness of the Palestinian people and their courageous resistance after a year of heroism and pain, as well as the stance of the fighters on the support fronts in Yemen and Iraq, and highlighted the historic decision taken by the Islamic Republic of Iran to attack central Israel with missiles to support the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples.
