According to local press, three missiles destroyed the vehicles, which were carrying medical supplies provided by the Iraqi Government, which had been parked in the industrial zone, located on the road between Homs and Damascus, near the border with Lebanon.

The director of the industrial zone, Amer Khalil, denied reports that the attack targeted a Syrian-Iranian car assembly plant.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs warned of the continuation of international silence regarding Israel’s ongoing violations and crimes committed in the occupied Palestinian territories, Lebanon and Syria.
