Cuba demands action from the UN, he said.
In his message, the Cuban leader posted a link to a Prensa Latina report describing the destruction of civilian infrastructure by Zionist aircraft, while the government claims to be aiming at military targets.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs also expressed concern over these events in the Middle East, motivated by Israel’s aggressive policy, with the military, logistical and political backing of the U.S. government.

“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba has been warning of the danger of further escalation in the Middle East, as a result of these actions and the aggressiveness and impunity with which Israel acts,” the text stressed.
It reiterated that peace will only be possible in the Middle East through a comprehensive, lasting and just solution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, which contemplates the creation of a sovereign and independent Palestinian State on the pre-1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
