The 12th storm of the current hurricane season is located at latitude 10.3 North, longitude 30.5 West, 830 km southwest of Cabo Verde.
Leslie is moving at nine km/h with maximum sustained winds of 65 km/h with stronger gusts and according to forecasts, its strengthening is expected, which could become a hurricane in a couple of days, according to the report.
Meanwhile, Hurricane Kirk continues on a northwesterly course and is now located 2,645 km southwest of the Azores Islands.
With maximum sustained winds of 195 km/h, and a speed of 17 km/h, it could affect the east coast of the United States in the next few hours, the institution warned in its bulletin.
