Ryabkov also highlighted that the issue was reviewed with the deputies of the State Duma (Lower House of the Russian parliament), and points of view were exchanged on the prospects for improving relations with the United States.
“Without a doubt, we must prepare for a long standoff with the United States. We are prepared for it in every way,” the diplomat said. “In addition, we are sending all warning signals to our adversary so that he does not underestimate our determination,” he concluded.
