The long-awaited literary festival will run from November 7 through 17, at the Juan Pablo Duarte Cultural Plaza, where four large pavilions will be set up for bookstores and publishing houses to offer their literary and academic proposals.
Organizers said spaces have been designed to guarantee the comfort of visitors of all ages, providing an appropriate environment to enjoy a pleasant experience.
The Ministry of Culture indicated that the event will also bring together representatives of more than a dozen local distributors, surrounded by stands for magazines, institutions and foundations.
National publishers that have confirmed their participation are Editora Nacional, Letra Gráfica, Santuario, Últimos Monstruos Editores, Luna Insomne, Río de Oro Editores, Mujeres de Roca y Tinta, and Tiempo de Nosotros Editores.
Also present will be Flam Editores, Susaeta Ediciones, Escuela de Autores, Editorial Universitaria Bonó and Librería La Trinitaria.
Book lovers will enjoy the proposals from international bookstores and publishers, including Fondo de Cultura Económica, Akal, Huerga y Fierro, Ediciones Universidad de Salamanca, La Pereza Ediciones, and Grupo Editorial Planeta.
Other participants are Editorial Isla Negra, Grupo Editorial Sial Pigmalión, Editorial Universidad de Puerto Rico, Mar Adentro, Cámara Cubana del Libro, Del Mar Distributors, Océano Dominicana, and the Center for Advanced Studies on Puerto Rico and the Caribbean.
In addition, the Fair will be honored with important institutions linked to books and reading, including the Juan Bosch, León Jimenes, Propagas and El Carretón de los Libros foundations.
