The message, published in the Kremlin’s official website, was issued this Tuesday on the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.
“Despite the complex international situation, we have recently managed to increase qualitatively the volume of trade, and implement many large-scale bilateral projects in several spheres,” Putin’s congratulatory message states.
The Russia-China fruitful interaction within the United Nations, the BRICS Group, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), and other multilateral structures is of great importance, the Russian leader noted.
Putin said Moscow assesses “friendly and good-neighborly relations with Beijing” and pledged that the two countries would continue their joint work to further enhance bilateral ties for their peoples’ benefit.
The Russian president also praised China’s achievements in economic, social, and scientific-technical development.
