Through the social network X, the Iranian mission declared that the launching of missiles by Tehran against Israeli targets in occupied Palestine is in retaliation for the terrorist acts of the Zionist regime that included attacks against Iranian citizens and interests and violations of national sovereignty.
After urging Tel Aviv not to commit more malevolent actions, the entity of the Persian country advised the States of the region and the supporters of the Zionist regime to distance themselves from it.
The statements were issued when the Israel Defense Forces announced that Iran launched missiles towards the Hebrew country and asked the local population to remain alert.
In the last few hours, media outlets reported that Iran attacked Israel with more than 100 ballistic missiles after promising to respond to that country for the assassinations of top figures in Hezbollah and Hamas. Some sources said there were 102 missiles, while others, such as Channel 12, raised the figure to around 400.
According to the news portal Inet, among Tehran’s targets were the Israeli airports of Hatzeri and Nabatin, although there were also reports of missile strikes in Tel Aviv and in the Sharon and Negev areas.
