The Ministry’s statement specifies that Russian units keep under control the railway line in the village of Tsukurino, which runs parallel to the land route, substantially reducing the movement of enemy troops.

These actions leave the logistic center of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in this sector of the front isolated, creating additional difficulties for the Ukrainian troops.

The note adds that dirt roads remaining in enemy hands are also under fire, significantly limiting the ability of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to move and supply troops.

All this strengthens the position of the Russian forces in the Selidovo-Kurakhovo area, creating obstacles for the Ukrainian forces, after the army launched a successful offensive near Kalinovka and Grigorovka, which was unexpected for the Ukrainian forces.

The Ministry of Defense further reported that the city of Selidovo in the Donetsk People’s Republic has been encircled on three sides, significantly complicating the enemy’s defensive positions.
