Addressing the 79th session of the UN General Assembly, Jaentschke said that Nicaragua will not remain silent and went on to denounce the systematic policies of extermination of cultures and rights unleashed by the United States and its allies against his country, Cuba, Venezuela and Bolivia.
The head of Nicaraguan diplomacy described ALBA-TCP as a strategic unit for the defense of sovereignty, independence and legitimate paths and models of institutionality, leadership and participatory and direct democracy.
He also expressed condemnation of the genocide that the Government of Israel and its allies in the first world commit against the peoples of Palestine and Lebanon, and others who do not submit to brutality.
“We will not remain silent! We denounce the aggressions against Syria, Iran and so many other great and fighting brothers on all continents. We condemn the occupation and usurpation of the rights of peoples and countries, such as Haiti,” he stressed.
He urged people not to become slaves to selfishness or greed, nor to ever kneel or be condescending to the enemies of peace or the common good.
Never blind to the atrocity that some make a rule of life or to the false narrative of hypocrites, who resort to artificial techniques and multicolored celluloid, as they seek to sell and install a childish, paralytic world, where they are exonerated of guilt for so many crimes against humanity, the top diplomat stressed.
