The final roster will be announced on September 30th, and those chosen will represent Haiti in two matches of the League of Nations of the Confederation of North, Central America and the Caribbean.
The opponent to be defeated will be Aruba, and the matches are scheduled for October 11 and 14 of this year.
Haiti Libre digital newspaper reported that the nation is currently the leader of Group C of League B with six points, thanks to 10 goals scored and only one goal conceded.
In September, the Haitian team had two convincing victories, one against Puerto Rico and the other against St. Martin.
“These results put Haiti in an ideal position to continue their quest for promotion to the A League, while aiming for direct classification for the 2025 Gold Cup, and having a certain position only for first place in the group,” the source argued.
The double-header with Aruba is crucial to consolidate first place, the newspaper stressed.
