According to the ministerial statement, countries that unconditionally support Israel are collaborating with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to shed blood for their political interests.

Ankara also urged the United Nations Security Council and the international community to take the necessary measures without delay to stop the escalation of the war.

Israel launched the day before an intense bombing campaign against Hezbollah targets in Lebanon which, according to Beirut authorities, killed 492 people.
