The letter considers Cuba’s inclusion in that unilateral list by the US Government as “cynical, cruel, and a clear violation of international law.”
Ana Maria Olivera, president of the Uruguayan Chamber of Deputies which has just closed sessions this capital, signed the document.
Local deputies consider that Washington’s decision “is designed to maximize the Cuban people’s suffering, stifling their economy, displacing their families, and even restricting the flow of humanitarian aid.”
