During hostilities on the Kursk line of operations, the enemy also lost 124 tanks, 56 infantry fighting vehicles, 93 armored personnel carriers and 780 combat vehicles, the military body reported on Friday on its official Telegram channel.
The Russian troops also destroyed 471 cars, 115 artillery pieces, 28 multiple rocket launcher systems, including seven Himars and six MLRS, eight anti-aircraft missile launchers, four cargo transport vehicles, 29 electronic warfare stations, and seven counter-battery radars, among others.
In the past 24 hours, the Russian military eliminated more than 370 Ukrainian fighters, 18 armored vehicles, including two tanks, four infantry fighting vehicles, and 12 armored fighting vehicles, as well as six artillery pieces, a mortar, and an electronic warfare station.
“The operation to destroy the formations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is continuing,” the agency noted.
Last August 6, Ukrainian troops launched an armed raid in the Kursk province and occupied several areas, resulting in the displacement of more than 100 000 civilians.
President Vladimir Putin, promised ‘a dignified response’ to Kiev’s provocation, which he accused of indiscriminate firing on civilian facilities, and reaffirmed that Russia will achieve all the objectives of its special military operation in Ukraine.
