The National News Agency reported that an enemy F-35 fighter jet launched four missiles at a civilian building in the area, killing and injuring people, including children.

Ambulances, Red Cross and Civil Defense firefighting vehicles rushed to the scene of the attack to transport the wounded, amidst the deployment of the army.

The Israel Defense Forces acknowledged the raid in the Beirut area and said it would release details at a later date.

The hostile act came days after the electronic terror attacks that killed more than 30 people and injured more than 3,000 between Tuesday and Wednesday.

This is the third air raid by Israeli forces against Beirut’s southern suburbs since the start of the Palestinian Al-Aqsa Flood battle on October 7.

The Israeli aggression comes hours before a session of the UN Security Council to address the situation in Lebanon following the explosion of thousands of electronic devices in several regions of the country.
