On September 17 and 18, numerous explosions of communication devices took place in Lebanon. On the first day, numerous devices detonated almost simultaneously in different parts of the country.
According to the country’s Ministry of Health, 12 people died as a result of the emergency, including two children, and more than 2,800 injured were taken to hospitals.
The following day, portable communicators, telephones, as well as devices powered by solar panels and lithium-ion batteries exploded in several areas of Lebanon. The second attack killed 25 people and wounded 608.
