A favorable situation that, in addition, allows it to commercialize 3,000-kilowatt hours daily to state-run energy company Union Electrica (UNE), Gomez told Prensa Latina in the context of the 3rd International Exhibition of Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency, being held at PABEXPO fairgrounds from September 18 to 20.
The CEO emphasized that ATEC saves 411 tons of diesel fuel annually and prevents emitting 1,120 tons of carbon dioxide, which demonstrates the value of using clean energy and its contribution to the environment.
As a major energy consumer, ATEC has managed that its factories do not affect the country’s imports of fossil fuels, or the energy homes currently need, Gomez said.
He also added that the factory covers a wide range of products and services, including the commercialization of its products.
The productions are focused on televisions, induction cookers, decoder boxes, washing machines, and several plastic items; the assembly of inverters, and photovoltaic pumps; and the construction of photovoltaic parks, electric and solar mobility, (equivalent to a gas station, but solar station).
Gomez added that the industry has three solar stations -and another for the population-, parking systems with tiled roofs to which photovoltaic panels are adjusted, and equipment that allows easy charging of electric vehicles.
