Achkienasi met with Pabitra Margherita, Minister of State for External Affairs, with whom he discussed relations and cooperation between the two countries in several sectors such as health, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, science, sports, culture, and the relations between both peoples, the Indian diplomat stated.
On X, the Cuban diplomat considered the meeting significant to discuss relations between the two nations, based on the ties that have united them for several decades.
Achkienasi also held talks with Raghuram S., Secretary for Political Planning at the Ministry of External Affairs of India, about the experiences in planning and analysis.
Both functionaries confirmed the possibilities of cooperation with the Center for Policy Research (CPR) of India and the “Raúl Roa Garcia” Higher Institute of International Relations (ISRI) of Cuba, which is of interest to both nations’ researchers and teachers.
