“We have countries from all continents, there are 32 international delegations, a very important presence by the United States, Brazil, Argentina, the European Union, countries that with large participation, both from Latin America and Europe, and even from Asia,” enthused the general manager of the show based in Santa Cruz, Raúl Strauss.
The expo will officially open at 5:00 p.m. Bolivia time and will run through September 29th.
Strauss told the press that during the 10 days of the fair, the 32 delegations will offer a wide variety of products in their respective stands.
One outstanding event will be the business roundtable scheduled for September 25 and 26, attended by the Chamber of Industry, Commerce, Services and Tourism of Santa Cruz (Cainco) and the Agricultural and Livestock Trade Association of the East (CAO).
“There se are business intentions of around 200 million dollars – explained Strauss -, promoted by all the exhibitors. Once the fair is over, the exhibitors will be working on it.”
The manager reported that this year Expocruz plans to accommodate more than half a million visitors, both national and foreign, based on the certainty that this is one of the country’s international exhibitions boasting a satisfaction rate thar exceeds 90 percent.
He recalled that Expocruz generates more than 70 thousand jobs each year before, during and after the event.
