The Cuban team, named “UH Top”, consists of the University of Havana students Leonardo Daniel Artiles, Jorge Alejandro Pichardo, and Ariel Gonzalez, with Professor Hiram Borbolla as a coach.

The diplomat stated that the young university students intend to improve on the results achieved by their peers in previous competitions.
