Shooting attack on soccer match attendees in Montevideo

Montevideo, Sep 18 (Prensa Latina) Two people were wounded by gunshots fired by unknown assailants at a soccer match in a sports center in the Uruguayan capital, news reports said today.

A man was shot in the head with loss of encephalic mass and is in serious health condition.

A woman was shot in the back and is also hospitalized.

The events occurred at the Carrasco Sports Center, in the town of Bañados de Carrasco.

The attackers fired from a moving car, Montevideo Portal reported.
