NATO leaders’ unwillingness to take into account President Vladimir Putin’s statements about the consequences of possible attacks on Russia with Western weapons is a dangerous, short-sighted, and unprofessional move, Peskov added at a press briefing.
Such an ostentatious desire not to take the Russian president’s statements seriously is rather due to Mr. Stoltenberg’s extroverted nature, the spokesman added.
After a very short time, he will no longer be held responsible for his words but the attitude is extremely provocative and dangerous, Peskov stressed.
Earlier, Stoltenberg stated that the military bloc would not become a party to the Ukrainian conflict if it allowed Kiev to attack Russian territory with Western weapons.
