The Shiite political and military movement issued a statement extending its condolences to yesterday’s victims, whether on the southern front in the villages of Blida and Majdal Selem, or among those killed by the detonation of communication devices.

According to Hezbollah, the path of support for Gaza is continuous and separate from the severe reckoning that Israel must face for the massacre against the Lebanese people and fighters.

The Resistance advocated a quick recovery of the wounded and warned the enemy that “this is another reckoning, and it will come.” It also stressed that what happened on Tuesday afternoon will only increase the determination to continue on the path of struggle and resistance. The resistance also announced the upcoming appearance of Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah on the latest developments in the country and the region.

After examining all the facts, data and information available, the Resistance held Israel responsible for the electronic attack and reaffirmed its response.

Hezbollah confirmed yesterday that at approximately 3:30 p.m. local time, several message receiving devices known as pagers or beepers of workers of the various units and institutions of the Lebanese movement detonated.

The Minister of Public Health in the interim government, Firas Al-Abyad, confirmed in a press conference the death of nine persons and three thousand wounded as a result of the Israeli electronic attack against the nation. According to the preliminary report, the injuries were mainly in face, eyes, hands or abdominal region.
