Through her account on the social network X, the official reaffirmed that ‘Venezuela deserves respect’.
Godoy said she had forwarded a complaint to the Head of the EU Delegation, Rachel Roumet, rejecting the interfering statements made by Borrell against Venezuela.
Through the official communiqué addressed to the EU, she also stated that Borrell’s words represent a lack of respect for the internal affairs of a free and sovereign country.
She also called on the international community to respect the Bolivarian nation and the Venezuelan people.
We will not tolerate any more interference in our homeland, the European Union must attend to its problems, its plans against our democracy have failed as always’, the Vice Minister indicated.
This response came after repeated offenses by members of the European Union against the Venezuelan people’s power.
