The Ethiopian Football Federation informed that, initially, the Democratic Republic of Congo was chosen as the venue for the meeting, but for unknown reasons announced that it could not host it. Consequently, CAF agreed to Addis Ababa’s request to prepare the conclave.

The General Assembly will take place on October 10 and it is expected that the change of venue will not have a significant impact on the agenda and proceedings of the meeting.
