Granma newspaper reported that Ramkalawan’s agenda includes a meeting with Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel.

He will also meet with Cuban National People’s Power Assembly (ANPP) President Esteban Lazo and Health Minister Jose Angel Portal.

Ramkalawan will lay a wreath at the monument to Cuban National Hero Jose Marti at the Revolution Square and visit sites of academic, historical, and cultural interest, besides health institutions.

Both nations also expect to sign agreements to promote the development of political-diplomatic relations and cooperation.

Cuba and Seychelles officially established diplomatic relations on April 12, 1978, based on friendship, solidarity, and cooperation.
