As reported, Spoljaric plans to discuss confidentially with senior government officials the humanitarian consequences of the conflicts in Ukraine, Myanmar, the Gaza Strip, and Sudan.
The organization announced that Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will meet with Spoljaric in Moscow on Tuesday.
Spoljaric’s agenda in Russia also includes meetings with the heads of several institutions, and the leadership of the Russian Red Cross, Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova informed.
Zakharova said the ICRC chief will also attend the 4th Eurasian Women’s Forum in St. Petersburg from September 18 to 20.
